From a bold idea to next-generation pump technology.

OTECHOS is proud to be one of 18 companies selected for the ONS 2026 Innovation Park, organized by the Research Council of Norway.

At ONS, we will present the Downhole Centric Reciprocating Pump (dCRP), developed in close collaboration with Aker BP ASA through a project supported by NOK 19.7 million in public funding.

Together, we are addressing a growing industry challenge: how to maintain stable and efficient production as oil and gas fields mature.
The dCRP is a next-generation electric submersible pump designed for challenging well conditions with gas, liquids, sand and varying multiphase flow. Its low-speed rotary displacement principle, combined with no valves or vulnerable impellers, is designed to improve durability, efficiency and uptime.

The technology has the potential to contribute to:

• Increased production and oil recovery
• Lower operating and intervention costs
• Higher uptime and longer operational lifetime
• Electrification of artificial lift solutions
• Reduced reliance on conventional gas lift systems

Our participation in the Innovation Park demonstrates what can happen when industry experience, research, public support and a strong development partnership come together.

We look forward to sharing our technology and our journey at ONS 2026.
